Madre began as an homage to my always stylish, always creative mother: Angela.   

Her taste was eclectic, but always on point. She took the classics and added a twist with a statement jewelry piece or scarf.

She knew how to throw a party and could always be counted on for the perfect hostess gift.  She knew the perfect thing to say (and not to say) in any situation.  She was there, no matter what, and always had a way of welcoming people into her home - which automatically felt like YOUR home no matter your relation to her.

Was she for real?  You bet.  And if you never had a Madre like this in your life, rest easy.
